Born March 31, 1950, the son of Vincent and Pauline (Risley) Redmond. Bill retired after many years as a computer programmer. He enjoyed technology, especially Apple products. He loved his pets and in his retirement years he enjoyed gardening, golfing, going to movies, and sugar in all forms. He was an umpire and referee for baseball, basketball, football, and softball.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy; son Brian (Angela); daughter, Michelle; sisters, Peggy (Kevin) and Mary (Mitch); brother, Jim (Debi); numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom.
A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Williamston Chapel on Saturday, September 22 from 2-4 pm.
