Frances Sullivan Grimes, 81, passed away Saturday October 24, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. The graveside service was held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Jamesville Cemetery with Rev Jim Howell and Rev Ben Bunch officiating.

Mrs Grimes was the daughter of the late Alvin and Sallie Wiggs Sullivan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Assembly Church of God.

She was preceded in death by brothers Robert Sullivan and Roushin Sullivan.

On September 21, 1958 she married Jackie Grimes who survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are daughters Yvonne Woodley of Creswell, Donna Swain of Plymouth, Patricia Ross of Charlotte, and Sally Cullipher of Jamesville, sons Benny Sullivan of Princeton, Sammy Grimes of Jamesville, Jackie Grimes of Bear Grass, and Eugene Grimes of Williamston., sisters Hilda Bass of Eureka, Janie Ezzelle of Nahunta, Becky Wagner of Goldsboro, Rita Tucker of Lucama, and Belva Hamm of Fremont, brothers Glenn Sullivan and James Sullivan both of Princeton and Jimmy Sullivan of Goldsboro,16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

The family received friends Monday from 6:30-8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston.
