Our memories of James and Lena Price are many and vivid.  The wonderful times at Yearly Meeting when God would move into our services and both Bro. and Sis. Price responded in their own individual way.  Bro. James would most likely take to aisle with shouts of praise and Sis. Lena would sit tearfully with a glowing face and hanky in hand.  This is a vivid memory.
Another memory is being in their home in both Terre Haute and Jamesville.  Our children vividly remember especially the times in Jamesville and his very interesting story telling.  He had hair raising stories to tell of his early years in the military, of his early years in the ministry and yes of his love life and the details of what brought him and Lena together.  Being with Bro. and Sis. Price was always a time we looked forward to ahead of time, then struggled to end when it was time to leave, then cherished the warm memories as we headed towards home.
My earliest memories go back to boyhood days when Bro. Price's unique nickname for me was "Johnny thunt".  Then years later when I was given leadership responsibility, Bro. Price was the one who first mentioned my name as the one for the job.  He always treated me with such respect as his leader though he was my elder and clearly exceeded me in spiritual maturity.
I still cherish with warmth the memories of our last trip as a family to Jamesville in which we were able to share in a special service of appropriate recognition to Bro. and Sis. Price for their years of service in God's work and leave them with a scrap book put together using input from many of the CYM family.
Our memories go on but I want to especially thank you, Peggy and Mattie and your families for lending your parents to us, the CYM family, for so many fruitful years.  Our thoughts are with you and we are comforted in knowing that your parents are reunited in heaven with the Lord they loved and served so well!

We spent wonderful years with Brother James and Sister Lena in Bolivia. They were spiritual giants. Nothing could hold them back from what they felt like God would have them do. Our children hold them in the highest regard. We felt like they were parents to us in a world far removed from family. The last time we visited with them in Little Washington Sister Lena knew us and was so happy for the visit. I had to remind Brother James who we were, but we had a great time talking about places and people far away. We all will miss these dear friends. I'm so glad they are with their Lord. Our sympathy is extended to their entire family, especially to their daughters and their families. They both loved you so much. What a treasure you have in heaven. My life was greatly impacted in the short year we lived across the drive from Bro. & Sis. Price.  What a loving, Godly example they were!  We are keeping the family in our prayers.

The impact that Bro. Price had on my life is indescribable. He was such a man of God. He will be missed. Thank you Bro. Price for such a great example. You all are in our prayers.

Bro Price was and is a hero of mine. Many times, he spoke to me spiritually. He was a giant of a man. There will always be a spot at church camp, third row from the front, that will always seem empty to me, even if someone else is sitting there. I miss him greatly.

Certainly one of my hero's of the faith. Our sympathy goes to the family. Brother James Price will always be a treasure to the Central Yearly Meeting of Friends
