Mrs. Emma Jean Scott Mobley, 72, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2016. She was a waitress for most of her life, a job she loved. Jean loved to cook and bake, and really loved Christmas and the holidays. She was also a lover of shopping and loved the QVC channel.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 25, 2016, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Williamston, N.C. Visitation will be at the church from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. on Thursday Night, March 24, 2016.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Dawn Henzel and husband Joe of Toano, Virginia, and Tracy Myers of Williamsburg, Virginia; her brothers, David Scott and wife Allie, of Williamston, and Dallas Scott and wife Louise, of Robersonville, N.C; two brothers in law , Ted Murchison of Greenville, and Elton Mobley of Everetts. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many very special nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Emma Bell Scott, Her husband, Dillon Mobley, her sisters, Elsie Gray Murchison, Maddie Elizabeth Silverthorne, and Lillie Scott, and a brother, Willie Scott, Jr.
Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to the Bear Grass Fire and Rescue, Bear Grass Road.
