Joan Scott Bland

Mrs. Joan Scott Bland, 67. died Thursday July 12, 2012 at Martin General Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Rehoboth Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Lamarr Jackson and Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating; burial will follow at Martin Memorial gardens.

Joan was a homemaker and a member of Rehoboth Pentecostal Holiness Church. On September 20, 1961 she married Wilber Bland who survives. She was preceded in death by a son James Wilber "Bud" Bland Jr. brothers Jackie Scott and Gary Scott.

She was survived by her husband Wilber Bland of Bear Grass, daughter Tressy B. Webb and husband Steve of Bear Grass, brothers Larry Scott and Danny Scott and Phillip Scott of Bear Grass, sister Tammy S. Hollis of Black Jack, grandchildren Jamie Bryant and husband Billy, Scotty Webb, Tripp Bland, Trevar Bland, and Jonathan Bland.

The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Rehoboth Pentecostal Holiness church in Bear Grass and other times at the home.
