Joseph Carnegia Ross Jr.

Joseph “Joey” Carnegia Ross Jr., passed away at his home on February 14, 2017. He is preceded by his mother and father J. C. and Thelma Ross of Oak City. Survivors are his wife Kimberly Webb Ross, daughters Kelsi Ross and Charity Ross, brother Billy and Lisa Ross of Greenville, sisters Cheryl Ross of Williamston, and Cindy and Gil Matthews of Hamilton. Joey worked as a surveyor for NCDOT and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf with friends. He also played and loved the game of baseball.

The funeral service will be held Friday, February, 17, at 11:00 AM at the Oak City Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30-8:00 PM at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston, N.C. Burial will be at Oak City Cemetery on Friday.
