Margaret Eleanor Weeks Hardison

Margaret Eleanor Weeks Hardison, 64, died Friday August 3, 2012 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville. The funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church with Rev Karen Kelly officiating; burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mrs Hardison was born on November 7, 1947 in Pitt County, daughter of Gretchen Staton Weeks and the late Robert Weeks. She was a Registered Nurse at Martin General Hospital before her retirement and a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Deborah Pinner.

On August 16, 1969 she married John Ben Hardison Jr who survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are sons Ben Hardison and Bob Hardison both of Williamston, mother Gretchen Weeks of Greenville, sister Bobbie Weeks of Greenville, brother Henry Weeks and wife Sandi of Winterville, and sister-in-law Cherry Jones and husband Jerry of Snow Hill.

The family will receive friends Sunday 7-8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence 107 Weaver Drive. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Martin County Relay for Life.
