Mary E. Edmondson

The graveside service will be held Thursday at 11; 00 AM at Robersonville Cemetery with Rev Susan Harrison and Greg Sexton officiating.

Mary Ethel was born on March 20, 1941 in Martin County. She was the daughter of the late Elmer R and Ethel D Edmondson. She graduated from Oak City High School and East Carolina University. She was a dedicated and beloved educator of English and exceptional children in Williamston High School from 1974 to 2004.

She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church where she was active in many areas of church work and will be fondly remembered for her devotion as an acolyte mother to many youth.

She is survived by daughters Lisa Williams and Susan Edwards, grandchildren Sara Kristofer, Aston Harrison, and Ava Clair Edwards,sister in law Jenny L Edmondson and a devoted companion Joe Griffin. She was preceded in death by her brother Errol Rodney Edmondson

Mary Ethel will be truly missed by her family and many dear friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Vintage Inn of Williamston for their support and care for her for the last three years.
