Sybil Tyson Pearson

Carolina passed away on March 13, 2017.

Born in Martin County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of

the late Alice Hudson Tyson and John R. Tyson of Oak City,

North Carolina. She was the youngest of 13 children.

She was a graduate of Hardbarger Business College in Raleigh,

North Carolina and worked as a secretary to the City Clerk and

a secretary in the North Carolina Governor's office until her

husband graduated from North Carolina State University and

they moved to South Carolina. She was a member of the

Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

She is survived by her husband Robert C. Pearson of the home,

one daughter, Belinda Daniels and son-in-law Herman Daniels

of Williamston, NC, one son, Robby Pearson and daughter-in-

law, Betsy Pearson of Easley, SC, one grandson, Joseph Daniels

of Greenville, NC and two step grandsons, Bill Daniels of

Raleigh, NC and Ben Daniels of Arlington, Virginia. She is also

survived by one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Tyson of Oak City, NC.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 17,

2017 at Oak City Cemetery, Oak City North Carolina.

Biggs Funeral Home of Williamston, NC is in charge of the

arrangements.
