Thomas Burris Brandon Jr., 88, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his home. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor James Proctor officiating; burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr.Brandon was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon and an elder. He was an avid hunter and sports participant and enthusiast

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Taylor Brandon, sons Thomas B. Brandon III and wife Sandra of Williamston and John D. Brandon of Laguna Beach California, daughter Elizabeth B. Sager and husband W. Laird of Kill Devil Hills, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
