Alfred L. Favre, of Depew, entered into rest on May 14, 2021 at age 89. Beloved husband of 62 years to Ann M. (nee Mercurio) Favre; devoted father of Donna (Mark) Desmone MD; Michele (Timothy) Tynan, Susan (Jeff Parkhurst) Hayes and Mark Favre; cherished grandfather of Nicholas Desmone, Sarah Desmone, Jennifer (Ashton) Momot, Daniel Tynan, Adam (Karrie) Hayes, Kyle Hayes, Nicole Favre and Rachel Favre; adored great-grandfather of Mason and Nicholas; loving son of the late Alfred and Jean Favre; dear brother of Donald (Dolly) Favre, the late Elizabeth (late James) Lustgarten and the late Philip Favre; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUENRAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd., Williamsville, on Monday (May 17, 2021) from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 1 St. Mary's Hill, Lancaster, on Tuesday (May 18, 2021) at 10am. Please assemble at church. Face masks required. Al was a proud veteran of the US Navy and served on the USS Wasp during the Korean War. Al's family was the most important thing to him.
