My heart was so heavy with sadness when I received word from Mary that Ann was no longer with us. Having grown up across the street (on FairOaks Lane) from Ann, I always felt as if Ann was the one who helped us "keep it all together". Ann was always the steady, gentle rock; the mentor that we all looked up to as children.
I have such fond memories of hanging out at the house, singing "Knock 3 Times"; "Joy to the World"; and "Signs " with Ann, Mary, and Sharon; while someone strummed the guitar! Those were special times with very special people!
Much love her the family and friends; May the Lord Bless you and keep you Ann!

To my beloved Ann
Our lives will never be the same without you. My son was blessed when you became his wife. You were the perfect wife and mother. You gave me two beautiful grandchildren whom I love dearly and shared them with me. Thank you for including me on family vacations and family activities. You were the most loving and beautiful person I have ever known. May the loving memories of yesterday give us the strength to carry on without you.
God bless you Till we meet again
Love Gloria

Ann defined the meaning of "friend". If you look up the word in the dictionary, her picture is there! She was the awesome kind of friend who would be the first to call if you hadn't talked in a while. She was kind and compassionate and always lifted you up. We became friends back in 1977 when I was a freshman at UB and Ann lived across the hall. She was a senior the next year when we shared a quad room, and when she graduated she always maintained our friendship. Over 40 years she went from being a friend to becoming a best friend. I was in her wedding, she was the perfect godmother to our son. She was a true believer in the faith. I am sure that she was welcomed into heaven by those who have gone before us, and she sits near our Lord. I know that she will put in a good word for those of us less faithful than she, and I hope that she will save us a seat at His table. She impacted my life and made me want to be a better self, I will miss her terribly and love her forever. Be at peace my friend and know that you are loved yesterday, today and tomorrow. Until we meet again, you remain my forever friend. I love you Ann.
