My memories of you Aunt Nancy go back to my childhood in Kilmakerin , Co. Kerry the homeplace of your husband, my Uncle Paddy. This lovely lady from far away Buffalo sent us large parcels of beautiful clothes and often tucked in amongst them were comics, fizzies, chips and even jellies making childhood eyes dance with delight as the goodies unfolded. 

Then in 1967 with Anne, Jean, and Eileen you made the long journey all the way to Kerry to visit us, while the picture of you and the girls climbing Bean Dubh is faded the memories of us all out there on the mountain remain vivid. 

Since then, our meetings on your visits to Dublin with your kindness, humour and many   reminiscences gave you a special place in the hearts of the Sullivan family in Ireland.

Was so sorry to hear the sad news, I have very fond memories of Aunty Nancy, she was a lovely lady always so happy and full of life, as I live in Edinburgh I did not see her as often as the rest of the family, but when I did I always had a lovely time  she had such a memory and great stories about growing up in Donnybrook, we are thinking of you all at this time, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I know you loved these times as much as we loved you. It was with great sadness and a sense of loss when we learned of the passing of dear Nancy RIP.
Our memories of this wonderful Lady go back many years.
As children when the rolled up parcels of American comics arrived
with the postman the excitement amongst us was immense.
Although not related by blood to Nancy and Paddy ,we felt as if we were indeed part of this special American Family.
Each and every time that Nancy arrived home we always met up and had an Irish Holley
She always brought the party with her!
One of the happiest and funniest memories that we treasure was of a Lock-in  we shared with dear Aunt Bridie  and Nancy in the Orwell Lodge Hotel singing,laughing and having great craic until 3am
She was a very bright light that will shine forever!

Jean, Anne, Eileen & families, also the extended Malone family, we are so sad to hear of the passing of Nancy, a true Irish mammy who never forgot her roots. We enjoyed her so much when she told her stories of meeting Paddy Sullivan and her life in Home Villas, Donnybrook. She made a new life for herself & Paddy in Buffalo and reared a wonderful family she was so proud of. May she rest in peace. She left her mark on this world and will be missed by so many.

Aunt Nancy we will miss you so much.  Your beautiful smile and wonderful laughter. Your incredible singing voice with an endless repertoire of songs. Your radiant personality that could light up a room! Your strength, courage, and positivity. Your corned beef and cabbage dinners. But most of all your loving and caring nature.
