Anthony "Tony" E. Greco

Of Williamsville, NY and North Venice, FL passed away on February 28, 2026 in Tidewell Hospice, Venice Florida. He leaves behind his beloved wife Tracy (Quinn) Greco; his dearest daughters Julie (Jeff) Adasek and Kristina (Sean) Higgins; his cherished grandchildren Alyssa Cavalier, Dr. Haleigh Cavalier and Michael Higgins. He was the son of the late Vincent and Josephine (Campiere) Greco. Tony was the former owner of Greco Funeral Home in Kenmore, NY after having to relocate from the City of Buffalo due to urban renewal. He graduated from St. Anthony's Grammar School, Canisius High School and Niagara University. After graduating from college, he was a math and social studies teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools for seven years while pursuing his master's degree. When his father Vincent who was then running the funeral home became ill, Tony left his passion for teaching and enrolled in Simmons School of Embalming and Mortuary Science to run the business. However, his passion for teaching continued as he mentored many young funeral director residents throughout the years. Tony was a long time member and served as Past President of Erie-Niagara Funeral Directors Association, New York State Funeral Directors Association, The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and various other organizations. A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday July 26 from 1-3 at Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville, NY. 14221. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3PM.
