My Dearest Joan
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful husband Tony.  I attended mass at 9 am this morning and they announced his name.  It is so difficult to write words to describe my sadness for you.  What a great couple who loved so deeply and endured so much together.  
Last week I went to Raleigh to visit my daughter who moved there 3 months ago and I miss her so much.   But know that I would have been there, Joan, to hug you and comfort you and share the sorrow of Tony's passing and the joys of his life. There was no experience like a Haircut at Tony's barber shop. Not only did you get a quality haircut but you got to solve the problems of the world for 20 mins or so then leave the shop feeling a little better about yourself and the world. Tony was one of the most amiable and kind people I ever met.  I was so excited when he returned to the shop looking like his old self and equally saddened when I saw the notice on the shop door yesterday. My deepest sympathy to all his family members. he will be deeply missed by all who knew him

Hey Cuz,
     You left a wonderful legacy - a man of honor, respect and dignity.  How many men could boast of being the husband of one beautiful wife, having the love and respect of his children and grandchildren, family, friends and friends in the community?  You were truly a person that young men could only dream to emulate and older men should appreciate.  You are the kind of husband and father that every mother dreams of for their own daughters to marry.
      I can't help but think of you Tony without seeing your smile and hearing your jokes.  You were front and center at every family event always available to help and to make everyone feel comfortable.
     You will be missed greatly - you will live in our hearts and minds until hopefully we will be reunited one again in His presence.

Tony's been my barber for as long as I can remember. What a great guy! I feel like I know his entire family. He talked about them all the time. The news of his passing is so sad. The last time I talked to him he actually looked up my work number and called me to tell me he couldn't give me a haircut that day because he had to go to the hospital and that he would see me next week. I'm so sad that next week never came. He was a special guy and I will miss him.

Dear Joan, Joanne & Tommy. I just found out today about Tony. Words cannot express how truly sorry I am. In many ways I have always felt that your family was an extension of ours and vice versa. When we found out today, my brother's reaction was "now dad has someone to talk to in heaven." I'd like to think they are on a cloud somewhere having a cup of coffee and catching up.

when i was single and lived in riverside, tony's barbership was there - when i got married, my husband always had his hair cut at tony's - tony gave our son his first haircut and every one after that - tony you were loved much and will be missed.  melody kazmierczak and family
