There are some people in this world, whose light is so great that even after they’re gone their light still shines through.  Yesterday, our world got a little darker, but I know the darkness is only for a brief moment in time as her light was greater than any other.  My grandma was the best person I’ve ever known.  She was my best friend, my confidant , my cheerleader, my compass, my rock. 

My grandma lit up a room with her presence. Her smile and her laugh could change your whole day. She knew what life was about. She understood what was important and she knew better than any of us ever could. She touched the heart and soul of everyone who met her. 

She has taught me so much over the years - class, grace , kindness, compassion, patience (so much patience), faith, forgiveness and unconditional love. She was the calm to my chaos, the peace in a meltdown, the faith in my doubt and the comfort to my fears . She inspired me to be  better person every single day. I loved her and cherished her more than words could ever convey.  She taught me so much, but never prepared me for how to live without her. 

Gram, I hope you knew how much of you there is in everything I do. Even in the smallest thing…minuscule & mundane,  you’re there, under the surface of it somewhere.  I hope you know I will carry you with me always, everywhere I go.  I hope you know how much I loved you and cherished you and would’ve done anything for you. I promise I’ll do what I can do keep making you proud.   Give PW so much of our love & tell him how much Jack Jack Frick and Frack has grown in the last 2 years.

There will never be enough paper to mark the pages with words to describe both the pain and joy that sits deep in my soul right now of my Beautiful Mother. My hands will be my voice because speaking ; the words cannot come out and they only bring tears. 
So heaven hear me now; you have your greatest teacher, the most unselfish and truly genuine human being that I've ever known. She was my strength when I was lost, my comfort to guide me when I couldn't find my way , taught me about forgiveness and most of all the True measure of love. Love is immortal.  She loved my Father for everything he was. She loved him for all his imperfections and gave herself to him during his last months on earth. She loved all of us with every ounce of her being.  And she loved all of us FIRST.  My Mother gave me innumerable gifts.  The gift of her wisdom and understanding of divine grace have been endless over the last few months and I can't even begin to explain in words what an impact she has made on my own life as a Wife, Mother and Gg.  

We laid together many nights at our "sleep overs" since my Father's death and prayed together. She prayed every night for all of us. She prayed and forgave everyone and had no regrets before she closed her beautiful eyes. In a letter my Father wrote to my Mother in September 28, 1958 , my Mother was only 16. My Father wrote to her " I have many faults Camille, but your faults are truly perfect to me"  Yes Dad, that still holds true today.  
Mom, life is beautiful.  Thank you for bringing me into this world.  Thank you for your lessons and most of all your love. I don't even need to hear those words from you because I do know you loved of us all. I can only hope I will continue to learn on this earth all that I need to to guide my own children and grandchildren to see the goodness of what life really is. Thank you for always loving me. I will hear your voice in my heart every night before I close eyes.  Love Caroline 

Mom- 
You already know how much I love you,  You know you raised us to be strong and independent, but kind and loving. You showed me how to look for the good in everyone.  Your patience, kindness and dedication to your family was  unparalleled. You loved every single one of us children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with every ounce of yourself and more. Your smile was contagious. I have said it before, but thank you for your unending, love and support.  Mike and I will miss our dinners, outings and daily Alexa chats.  You were without a doubt, the most beautiful soul one this earth . You were and always be my first and best friend. I love you Mom, and you will be forever in my heart. Give Dad a kiss for me.

My dearest mother- 
When I lost you , I lost a piece of my heart.
I will miss our daily phone calls and facetimes with the kids. But, most of all I will miss your soft face, your beautiful smile, your selflessness, kindness, your voice of reason and the sound of your voice. Thank you for teaching me how to be the person I am today. You taught me  all I know, but you never taught me how to live without my mom. I know you’re happy now and with your true love. I hope dad was there to hold your hand. Please watch over all of us  and guide us. Give Dad a big hug from me.
