Cara was one of my best friends in high school and my college roommate. She became the most amazing woman. She fought for her life with such courage, strength and grace. I am so proud of her. She has been a true inspiration to so many. Still so hard to believe she is gone but she is finally pain free and at peace, Praying for everyone trying to cope with this tremendous loss, especially her adoring husband. She was deeply loved by Bob and so many wonderful friends. RIP, beloved Cara.

Cara has faced what life gave her with so so much courage, strength and graciousness. We graduated HS together, but connected later as life brought us similar challenges. Looking back, Facebook was a great thing. We spoke of treatments and all that goes with this ugliness of any cancer. However I gained an amazing friend whom was so so loving, caring, giving and genuinely an amazing lady. For all those whom were blessed to be part of her family and friends know exactly what I am talking about. She adored her husband, Bob, and that in itself is a blessing. She was so strong and I can only hope I could show the same facing what she faced. She was blessed with a loving husband, family and friends and her time with us all was too short but not without meaning. Live life, we aren't promised tomorrow....live today like you are dying....as Cara did just that. I will miss you Cara and I am sure Bear and other friends were with God to greet you, may God embrace his newest angel. As always when we chatted #IsowishIcoulddothisforyou xoxo
