Carmen E. Walton

Carmen passed away unexpectedly and is sorely missed by family, friends and her faithful dog, Annie, who was at her side to the end. Devoted wife of the late William Walton, loving daughter of the late Dorothy H. Nelson (nee Plaistow), and Charles N. Vallone. Survived by brothers Norman J. (Jill) and Ross J. Vallone, cousins Charles Vallone (Beverly), William Vallone (Gladys) Edward B. Vallone II (Donna), dear friends Karen & James Thompson, Ro Moritz, Linda and Dennis Eckert, and many others, as well as several nieces and nephews. Carmen was born in Lackawanna, earned her MS degree in Education from State University College at Buffalo, and taught elementary school in West Seneca for 33 years. Carmen loved all animals, especially her St. Bernard dogs, and supported many animal care organizations. Family will greet friends during a celebration of Carmen’s life at 2:00 PM Friday, February 7 at Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home, 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville NY 14221. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
