We share our condolences to the Chur family. Aunt Carol was always such a joy to be around. I will always remember her big smile and joyful nature. May you rest in peace.

 What a beautiful day here in Nebraska to celebrate such a fulfilling life, well lived! To my sister Carol (chunk) a nick name given to her by her dad! I’m sure she never mentioned it to anyone! Carol was such a loyal sister!  Over the last several years she always made time to call and check up on me! She always wanted to know how farming was going and of course Deb’s apple tree! Even though she became a successful city girl, she never forgot her Nebraska roots. I will shed a tear today but mostly smile when thinking of our last moments together, celebrating her 80th Birthday! Rest in Peace until we meet again!  Brother Sid

My sincere condolences to Bob, Carla and family, and Kelly and family.  Carol was my boss of many years during a period of great ElderWood expansion.  She was the most hardworking, thorough, conscientious, dedicated executive--all while tending her family whom she adored.  I learned more about writing and editing from her than at any other time in life.  Much later, Carol retired from corporate life and attained yet another higher ed degree, this in art history at UB.  She also explored great art of the world on location with her daughters.  Her accomplishments in the art world, along with her and Bob's innovative healthcare successes, are remarkable.  Rest in peace, Carol.
