My dear Maurine, I have only recently heard of your daughter's passing and extend my heartfelt condolences. Those who fight bravely on Earth are assured a place at the table of Our Lord and Our Lady, in Their healing arms until you see her again in glory.

To Ken & the Family...Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathy of the passing of your wife/loved one (Christine).  I had the pleasure of meeting her through a couple of nursing visits through Willcare.  Throughout my short time of knowing her, Christine was very pleasant, and a very friendly person with a warm smile !! Viewing the pictures, one can tell that your family is close knit and full of love for one another !  I find solace in the words of the Bible, that say "Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall find comfort".  I am confident that God will comfort your family in this time of need and I hope that you all will keep her memory alive and pray that you all will keep the faith strong and not be despaired. Chris and I were the same age and I always regarded her as an exemplary women of strength, faith and fortitude. She was one of the greats examples in my life. A beautiful friend. What a loss to those that loved her... cared for her. 

But, as we turn to our  faith to see us through this sad and grief filled time we know that Chris has been welcomed to her new estate with open arms........... farewell to one of the brightest and best. We love you dear sister and friend.

Chris and Ken,

You are 2 of my oldest and dearest friends.  My very first memory of Chris was when she first moved to Western New York.  Even as a child, Chris was beautiful.  As the shy little girl matured, that inner and outer beauty never faded.  I know I'm not alone in saying, she will always have a soft spot in my heart.  

As teenagers, when we'd all pile into the station wagon and go to the falls, or church events, plays, road shows, dances, those are memories never to be forgotten.  Wholesome fun, wholesome memories.  The day before my mission, when I was set apart, we were together again, at the hill and in Palmyra.  When times of trouble would arise, we were always there for each other, no matter what. No judgments, no regrets.

As years passed, times apart never seemed very long.  Reunited, we'd always start up right where we left off.  This time apart, while seemingly otherwise, will be no different.  When we see Chris again, it'll be as if she'd never departed. Chris is now living a life with no pain, no sadness, few regrets, a perfect memory of a glorious past, even before mortality, and eternal hopes for an exalted life to come.  She has gone before us.  Our challenge now, is to try to live up to her standards, and to follow the example of him, whom we all owe our all.  

Ken, Maurine and family, you have friends and loved ones, everywhere praying that the good Lord will bless and keep you.  Our challenge is and will be, to keep our perspectives eternally based, our choices centered in Christ, and knowing that we'll all be reunited, in just a little while, and we'll all start up, right where we left off.

When you lose someone as remarkable as Chris, it seems that you will not be able to go on without her. But you will, and the pain of her passing will lessen as the gentle strength that she instilled in each of the members of her family grows with time and endurance. The spirit of your truly wonderful mom, sister, daughter and wife is part of each of you. Christine will continue on in this life through you, which will bring you both comfort and (eventually) happiness until the next life, when you will see her again. Dearest Friends,  I love you all. Christine and her family in 1972-1973 made sure I  was able to attend The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of which I am most grateful for. Chirstine, Ken, Dave Grasser, Bill Grasser, Tab Simmons, Pat Dell, Rick Grapes, Kim Ryder, Lisa, Lorean, Brett, Scott, Vincent, Kathy McDonald Edie Owens, and others were a close group of young men and young women who spent a lot of time together. Dance demonstrations, road shows, plays, musicals.  I loved to dance with Christine.  we clicked as dance partners. One time in a play we were suppose to do the charleston together but the time to change back stage took to long and the girls did the dance without the guys. oh well, to bad. Another time we learned to do Ballet together for a play we were in and l learned to twirl and catch her in the air, that was a moment.  We had fun parties in Rick's basement.  One night we went to see the movie The Posiden Adventure at midnight in North Tonawanda and all the girls cried on the boys shoulders.  The boys loved it.  I for one am indepted to the Fronkowiak and Vanry families beyond my ability to pay it back.  Chris and Ken despite the fact that as we were married and got involved in our own families and have not had a lot of interaction during those years I still consider you both some of my dearest friends.  I do love you both.  I am heartbroken for you families.  I know the pain. The Gospel of Jesus Christ provides hope for the future and makes it bareable but not painless.  Chirstine and I have shared some great moments together that I am grateful for.  I love her.  I will miss her.  I love you Ken.  I know the loss is inconsolable almost for a loving spouse.    It is very difficult to reconcile in your mind despite the knowledge we have of family sealing and what that means.  It does get better.  I know the atonement covers this sort of pain as well.  Christ offers to carry our burden if we ask.  Chirstine will always be with you and helping her family as much as she possibly can.  I know Valerie has done so for our family. So will Chirstine for her family.  She will attempt to comfort you if you are open to it.  After all she is mostly concerned for your welfare not her own I can testify of that. The Lord loves you and your family.  Take care of yourselves and each other. Lean on us, your fellow members of your church when you need a friend. My Prayers and my heart are truly with you all.
