Elmer was my track coach at Bishop Timon, and I stayed in contact with him until I moved away from Buffalo in 1968. He was an absolute terrific person. Really sorry to read of his passing.

When I was a high school and college kid I wanted to " dress sharp ", as was the expression in those days. Elmer taught me the difference between style and fashion and I always left his shop feeling way more self confident than when I walked in.
He knew that " clothes make the man " and I will always remember him for that. He was a great guy !

Condolences and prayers to the Covelli family and friends...Elmer was a wonderful sweet man and friend to our family (Lombardo's), as I'm sure he was also an amazing father/husband/grandfather. That Elmer Covelli was a great man. So many wonderful stories of him over the years, from his taste in picking clothes, to a few enjoyable rounds of golf, to much story telling over a glass of wine, and all in sync in talking of Jean, his children and grandchildren. Always a smile, always glad to see everyone, always jovial when saying see you later. Wonderful memories of Elmer Covelli.
