Frances "Fran" H. Cuzzacrea

passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026 at the age of 86 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen F Cuzzacrea III. Fran was the daughter of Julia C Swift and Warren R Hyde and is survived by her daughters Joanne (Robert) Kohnen, Stephanie Cuzzacrea (Stephen Bradshaw), and Judy (Lawrence) Wagner. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren; Derek, Bobbi Dee, Rebecca, Tucker and Thomas, her sisters; Patricia Swift, Suzann Costanzo and Deborah Schwert; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Throughout her life, Fran devoted herself to helping others; after raising her family she worked with the Royalton-Hartland School district as a secretary, teacher’s assistant and finally Executive Assistant to the Principal. A talented artist with a creative spirit, she was also co-owner of Country Pleasures Gifts alongside her beloved sister-in-law Maria. Her commitment to her community was evident through her many years of volunteer service with Tri-Town Ambulance and as a volunteer with the Medina Hospital Gift Shop.

While Fran found fulfillment in many roles, her greatest joys were being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and playing with the kids, and their dogs. Close second hobbies included painting, sewing, knitting, bird watching and chatting with the foxes, bunnies and squirrels in the yard.

Fran will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her gentle spirit, warm smile and caring nature touched countless lives and will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be welcomed at the PERNA DENGLER ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville NY on Wednesday June 10 from 3 – 7 PM where a Celebration of Life Service for Fran will be held at 7PM.
