Frances Pogorzala (née Piroski) went to heaven peacefully on October 23, 2022, age 90. Beloved wife of the late Leonard J. Pogorzala; precious and dearest mother of Leonard (Christine), Christine (Brian) Stachitus, Diane (Mark) L'Herault, Elaine (Stephen) Rubach, Daniel and Kathryn (Timothy) Seely; grandmother of eleven grandchildren; great-grandmother of nine; daughter of the late Frank and Katarzyna (née Zalocha) Piroski.
Frances was a beautiful, strong and courageous woman. She loved to garden and found joy in watching the birds. She was a member of Christian Mothers and was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Starpoint Central School for over 28 years.
Donations of flowers graciously accepted or donations to Erie County Hospice or Audubon Society. Mass and burial will be celebrated on November 5, 2022 at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd., North Tonawanda, NY. Friends invited.
