Rest in peace Mrs. Mruk. I will always remember my 4th grade teacher and my friend.

Mrs.Mruk(Sciolino) was my favorite teacher at PS#3. My she Rest In Peace eternally.

I see or hear something almost on a daily basis that makes me think of Ida.  Cannot believe she has been gone for a year now.  I know she is surely missed by her family and friends, but find comfort in knowing she is in a better place.  And that heaven is a better place because of her presence.

A beautiful woman  and teacher she was my 7th  grade teacher at  school  number 3. Mrs Mruk was the  kind of  teacher who  would  give you  extra  help and she  had a beautiful  hand  writing  she will  truly be missed 

I remember Mrs Mruk as my math  teacher in the 70s and I cheated  on  a fest got 100 highest score in class She knew  i cheated  and made me go to the board and show  the whole  class how i figured  out the math i couldn't  and i started  crying  i was so embarrassed  and mad at her may she rest in peace ❣🙏

Sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Mruk. I was a student at School#3 back in the 50’s and she was one of the teachers that I will never forget. She taught not only me, but the rest of my brothers & sister as well. She was a terrific teacher and a wonderful human being as well. May she Rest In Peace .

My Prayers and Condolences to her Family and Friends. Mrs. Ida Mruk Changed My Life. She taught Several of my older family members at SCHOOL#3. She took me under her wing when I was in Second grade. Even though she OFFICIALLY only taught 7th & 8th grades. She would mentor Anyone with an interest or love for math. She would have me solve problems on the board to anger her class. 
She taught the students that were taking entrance exams for HUTCH-TECH Algebra. It wasn't something we covered in class. So in study hall or after school she taught us the things we needed. 7 out of 9 made it into TECH..

Miss Sciolino was my 4th grade teacher at PS 3. Ida attended  our 8th grade reunion in 2008. Her smile, warmth, and personality brought back wonderful memories. She was more than a teacher to me. Rest In Peace Mrs. Mruk

We are so very sorry about your loss!  Ida was my mother-in-law, Emma Pici's good friend and I remember countless times of sitting with Emma and Ida and talking about life.  She was a lovely person (as was her husband) and she will be missed.  RIP Ida, xoxo Paul and Tracey Pici

I am not sure if you would even remember me . My mom Celestine Saia  taught at school 3 with your mom for many years . I too then taught at school 3 with her for a short time .
I always had so much fun with her ! She was an amazing woman . I know my mom will be giving her a big hug in heaven . My thoughts and prayers go out to you ! You have many wonderful memories ❤️

We have lost someone so dear to so many. Someone so full of personality, faith, and compassion. Ida was such a people person, if you had a care or concern she made it her own. I do believe she had a direct line to the Almighty, and have no doubt she was welcomed with open arms! The prayer baskets are going to be alot less full without her to tend to our troubles down here. But I know she will be looking down and tending to all those she held so dear. You will be missed my friend.....love you♥️🙏♥️

To know Ida was to love Ida!  How blessed we have been to have her in our lives for so long - and especially for you to call her Mom and Grandma.  Ida was so proud of you!!
She had a smile for everyone and took genuine interest in all the people she met.  I introduced her to my 11-year-old nephew in December and she asked him all about his school, his favorite subjects, and more.  He was over the moon that she cared and took the time to sincerely speak with him.  She didn't make him feel like just a kid.
But that was Ida; she made everyone feel special.  She was genuine.
And her sense of humor was second to none - so much of it was in her one-of-a-kind delivery.  
Ida was pure class and all heart, the real deal, a dynamo, a fighter, a comedienne and a prayer warrior.  I will always be grateful to her for putting my name "in the basket" at church too many times to count.
I will miss her and love her forever, and keep all those happy memories with me.
Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the joy of your Master!

Mrs. Mruk was such a wonderful, loving lady. She has been in my life since I was in third grade. There are so many wonderful memories I will keep in my heart always. She was a kind, loving, intelligent woman. She loved her family with all her heart. She always told me that Lisa was her angel! May you Rest In Peace. With love, Roseanne 

To the family of Ida Mruk,

I am very sorry to learn of Ida's passing.   She was a sweet sweet lady and a very dear friend of my late parents, Charles and Norma Sorrento.   

As a child growing up I have many fond memories seeing Ida every Sunday at St. John the Baptist Church in Kenmore.    She always greeted us with a warm smile and big a hug.

May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Mruk was such an important part of my growing up; I loved her like family.  I will treasure my memories of fixing tea for her and mom, going shopping with her to keep her company, and being welcomed into her home at any time.  I will miss her greatly.
