Irene A. Bania, (Bernadzinski) age 96, of Williamsville, NY passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Bania; loving mother of Joseph "Jay" (Maria) Bania; daughter of the late Andrew and Apolina (Bryla); sister of the late Virginia (late Stanley) Babkiewicz; aunt of the late Paul (Florence) Babkiewicz; sister in law of Adele Balon, late Irene and Marge Bania, late Sophia Caiazzo. Family will be present on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home, 1671 Maple Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 8:45AM from St. Gregory the Great Church followed by interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. in lieu of flowers donations in Irene's memory may be made to the SPCA of Erie County. Irene will be remembered for her love of the color red, Shakespeare, dessert, golf, dancing, learning, teaching her students,tea & biscuits, pearls, "Johnny" the cat, her faith but most importantly her love and devotion to her family.
