Dr. Painton was my father, Frederick Johnson, physician for years. He was always so kind, understand and professional. My father lived many extra years because of his excellent surgeries and care. My condolences to the family that doctor always spoke of with a special smile he reserved just for them. It was my honor to know doctor from my service at MFH and MFSH from 1965 to 2005. His patients always loved him. May God rest his soul and comfort his family. You have my deepest sympathy.

To the family of Dr. Painton,

Dr. Painton was an excellent surgeon and doctor. If it wasn't for him, I would not be here today. He saved my life back in 1990 with an emergency appendectomy and visited me every day I was in the hospital. I cannot thank him enough for what he did for me and I will never forget him.

My sincerest condolences to all of you as you mourn your loss.
