Susie, Brenda & babies, Brian, Tommi Jo, Bethany & Aaron,

Jimmy was more than a brother-in-law to us. We loved him like a brother. We will always remember the good times and trips to Tamagami, camping, Disney and the Condo in Florida. Our 2018 New Year's Eve at the condo as well. We were so blessed to share our Disney family vacation with Jim, Sue and Brenda. We are so blessed to have great memories.

Love to all of you,
Richard and Linda

"Uncle" Jim was one of my dad and mom's best friends. His warm smile was etched in my memory from the time I was just a toddler. As a jeweler, he made all the special pieces of jewelry I own. He made the necklace my great-grandma gave me for my Confirmation, the bracelet my grandparents gifted me with for my high-school graduation, the cross necklace my grandfather designed, and my husband and my wedding bands. He also made a very special necklace for me and each of my sisters. One that was made out of the silver from my grandma's wedding band and formed to look like the exact design Uncle Jim and my dad created for my mom's wedding and engagement rings (a heart carried in the wings of a dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit). From earliest memory I remember Uncle Jim and my dad enjoying a visit while holding children in their arms. Such a good, calmly mannered, caring man. I will miss him. I am thankful to have known such a man.

So saddened by the loss of Mr. Teufel. Bethany is my best friend and I was blessed to have been welcomed into the Teufel family with open arms for so many years growing up. Their house was my "home away from home". Mr. & Mrs. T were always so kind and very much like parents to me. We shared many memories driving to Florida to stay with George and Bee, who i also loved very much and will never forget. Photo is on Easter Sunday in Florida, I believe to be 2008. I will miss Mr. Teufel's kindness, smile, and of course, jokes about the dogs being a pain in the butt. Oh and his humming along to the radio on the way to Florida 🌞 I love you Mr. Teufel and family!!❣Sorry we all didnt get together over the last few years because I moved 😔 🙏

Jim is and always be one of our very best friends. We shared in each others weddings and Jim crafted my engagement and wedding ring. His smile made me feel loved and welcomed whenever the families shared time together. I know heaven has very special plans for him. I'll be there whenever Sue or the family needs me. Love you like a brother. Dawn White

I am still in shock over the sudden passing of my dear friend Jim. We met almost 30 years ago and he had done jewelry work for me throughout. But more so was the friendship that developed over that time. We would meet for lunch occasionally in Rochester, my wife and I would meet Jim and Sue for dinner. And we even got together when we were in Florida at the same time. Jim , I will aways remember your kindness and friendship. To Sue, Brian, Brenda and Bethany, you have our deepest sympathy.

Our whole Gem Lab family in Rochester can't believe that our dear friend and co-worker is no longer with us. I have been lucky to work with a few very fine jewelry craftsmen in my career and Jim was certainly one of the best. His skill brought a level of pride to the jewelry I presented to my clients that will be very difficult to duplicate. His calm demeanor was an asset to our work environment and he will missed every day.
