Jan "lit up" the room with her exuberance and huge smile! Her focus was always on the well being of others and was very modest in any accolades given to her. She was my big cousin that I looked up to and admired. 
There were many family get togethers, picnics, reunions and quality times we shared. And in conversations with her she was always my biggest cheerleader. 
Jan was the most gracious loving lady I have ever met, and I will miss her dearly. 
Rest is peace sweet cousin. 🙏❤️

Jan was one-of-kind with a heart of gold. We will always remember her for her contagious smiles and laughter. Sending love and prayers. ❤️

Janice and I and my twin, Carol, became inseparable in fourth grade at St. Amelia School.  I remember a Halloween Party in her parent’s  kitchen where we danced and danced🥰  So many wonderful, memories of visits to each others  homes as our young families grew.  She was a beautiful woman and we shared many, many good times together💜

In 1959/1960 my Dad and Mom ( Henry and Gladys-Paule ) would take us kids to visit Aunt Beth and Uncle Donat ( shown here kindly in an earlier photo. Aunt Beth is on the far right, in the 3rd photo and Uncle Donat most likely was taking the photo ) in Niagara Falls, NY.. 

On another day; we would also visit Grandma and Grandpa Caya. And  often Uncle Gene and Aunt Cora and Janice would be there. And being close by;  Aunt Beth and Uncle Donat would be there too.
 
The entire house would be filled with the sounds often times of 6 or 8 adults speaking French. And the kids would be just mezmerized; by it all.

Although she was older than me.  From where I was sitting; as a three year old kid maybe four; back then;  I can still recall, how Janice was a young girl then.

Spoken in French: she was "Exub'erant."
( note: the keyboard can't put the required accent on top of the letter "e" but it's all one word ).

Being around her; she would bring to your spirit a  wonderful admiration  of something extraordinary ("Apportez a´ votre esprit un charme merveilleux et extraordinaire").  And to your day; the cheer of a wonderful day ("Et la joie d'une journee´ marveilleuse").

Before we left Tonawanda that day, to Visit Grandma's; my older brothers ( being in their child-hoods ) were practically bouncing-off-the-walls in anticipation. Of going-to Grandma's and that mostly; that Janice was going to be there.
That is how I remember; from my childhood, my Cousin Janice. 

And I was always so very happy being around Janice then and through the years of all the Family Get Togethers'. 
As such wonderful occassion; 
it would always be in-store.
