To the family: my name is Joe Stella, and my mother, Josephine Stella, was great friends with “Jenny “-as she called her.
 I was at her house many times -loved to visit with her brother also, and she was very kind to me when mother was sick in 1995 and I had to fly in from Vegas to take care of her.

Jenny attended my mother’s 75th birthday party. My mom was the same age as Jenny. 

I think that may have been the last time I saw Jenny as mom got very sick after that and was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and passed away in 2009. In Vegas. 

The other day I was just thinking about Jenny as I have relocated back to Buffalo , and I searched today and see that she just passed away.
 Condolences to the family as she was a wonderful lady. I have many great memories of her.

She always enjoyed a party. This was wedding of her great nephew. Such a delight to share the day!

Had the pleasure of caring for this great lady for a short time. She was always kind and had a kind word. She was so loved by the Mineos and their children. Such a wonderful example of Gods love. She will be missed.

Where do I begin?… So many memories of a sweet aunt who was always there at every special occasion in my life.   She skipped out of her office in the federal building in downtown Buffalo for a few minutes to watch me get sworn into the USAF and give me a hug on my first day of active duty — and she was there at my USAF retirement ceremony at Scott AFB, Illinois 20 years later.  She helped me learn and develop speed with “touch typing” (on a manual typewriter back in the day) — a skill that got me through countless term papers and work correspondence over the years, and still serves me well today.  Rest in peace, Aunt Jennie.  You’ll always hold a special place in my heart.   Your nephew Fred

In loving memory of our dear friend and neighbor, Jenny.  At 97 years young, she graced our lives with warmth, kindness, and love, just like an Italian grandma would. From the moment we stepped into the neighborhood, Jenny and Anthony embraced us with open arms, making us feel cherished and welcomed.I can still vividly recall the day she brought us that delicious apple pie, a gesture that marked the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Jenny's presence became synonymous with every holiday and special occasion, her homemade treats—pizzelles and sugar coated almonds—always baked with love and shared generously.We shared more than just neighbors; we shared birthdays and wedding anniversaries, creating memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. Jenny was not just a friend; she was a lifelong companion, a beacon of light in our lives. Though she may no longer be with us physically, her spirit and the love she shared will continue to live on in our hearts. We will miss her dearly, but we find solace in knowing that she has left an indelible mark on this world and in our lives. Rest in peace, dear Jenny. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We love having family parties and Jennie had to attend many over the past 4 years... so glad we were together.

Aunt Jennie was such a a good sport.  She would always say from her chair, "I'm fine right here."  And we'd say, "that's nice but we're gonna go for a ride and eat Doritos" or some other shanagins. She'd say we were crazy and we would agree.

Our sincerest condolences go out to Aunt Jennie’s family during this  time of remembrance. 
We had the joy of meeting her only a few years ago through the care of Mike & Cindy Mineo, late into her seasons of life. 
Her smile greeted us every time we came to visit and her eyes expressed the appreciation of the time we shared. 
May the Lord’s grace be with you all, knowing she is joyfully in the presence of the Lord whom she came to know and love.
