Dear Gayle and Family,
I was sad to read of the passing of John. Although I did not know him well it was an honor to have been of some help to the both of you. Just being in his presence gave me a sense that he was indeed a great and probably very interesting man. Please accept my sincere sympathy and know I will keep John in my prayers.
May God Bless You and May God Bless America !
Sincerely ,

My sincere condolences to Gayle and family. Always enjoyed our visits and being a small part in your lives. It always was so sweet to watch how protective Malia was with her Nono. I’m very sorry for your loss. You did a phenomenal job.

What a beauitful Tribute to such an honarable man, husband, father, grandfather and my Friend. I met John many years ago at the 914th Airlift Wing and worked with him on many occassions during airshows. He taught me to work hard, be honest and take care of your wingman. John always had something good to say and I had the pleasure to meet his wife Gayle and his family. Thanks John for the many years of friendship and sharing your memories with me. Lt Col Caruso may you rest in peace but know that you are alive in your family and the many many friends you have at the 914th. MSgt Marty Viggato (retired).
