Dear Flynn Family,

We extend sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Flynn.  We fondly recall his days coaching in Connie Mack Little League.  And we are very grateful for his tremendous contributions to the Saint Benedict faith community for so many years.  God rest his soul.

So sorry to hear of John’s passing. It was always nice when he would stop over at the registrar‘s office at ECC and chat with us. What a nice man! So sorry for your loss.

Our deepest condolences John Jr., Rob, David, and Mike. Joe and I were so saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing.  He will always be remembered fondly from our childhood days. As an adult, every time we encountered your Dad, he was so welcoming and kind.  May he Rest in Peace.

John was a great friend and Mentor.  Others have also said it was very hard to say no to John when asked to help.  He was a devoted Catholic and showed it with his dedication to St. Ben's with Holy Name Society and Ushering to mention a few activities.  Yes John I'll count the plates!  Rest in Peace you earned it.

My Daughter just informed us of John’s passing, he will be missed by all his friends. We were very sad to hear this, we were all friends of his and Ginny in our football group. We always tried to stay close, but unfortunately we had to move to Florida because of health.  We will pray for him, and miss him deeply! Rest in peace, dear friend! Joel and Ginny Scime.

So very sorry to hear of Johns death. We grew up together on Tremont and belonged to Catholic young adult club and remained friends. He will be missed by many . Prayers and blessings to his family.

I am honored to have known and worked along with Mr.  Flynn and family for so many years at St Ben's.  He was always there to help and support me and everyone in the Parish.  He will be missed.  May God bless and shine upon you and comfort all around you.

John was more than active at St. Benedict he was the front line to which many people were the first person they met when first coming to St. Ben’s. He was the guy who always went down the side aisle shaking hands. He is truly a legend and will be very missed.

John was a true friend and mentor who taught me the real value of service to God and each other.   He was a reflection of the Prayer of St Francis-"it is in giving that we receive..."

The Feeley 5 have many fond memories of Mr. Flynn especially from all the little league baseball games he attended. John was a wonderful role model and we were honored to know him.  Mike, Marie, Brendan, Michael and Elizabeth.

John was a special friend who I met  when I was working at St. Ben's. He will be missed. When John called for help, I always tried to say yes.
