Jane Hettrick

Dear Sigrist Family -
Ours is one of the hundreds of families whose lives were made better by John. He did so much more than help us through his work with Aqua Systems. He always had a huge smile (even when his back or knees hurt) and always took the time to talk to my kids and watch them as they grew. We shared great memories of Old Home Days and compared notes on raising our kids. He loved his kids so much…and cars. My husband loved having John drive his Shelby after hearing that your oldest daughter was named after a car (not sure that’s true?!) John is the only person my husband ever let drive that car other than himself. And Casey and Jak - he loved bragging about you and all you were doing. John was one in a million and will be sorely missed by so many. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. With deepest sympathy, The Hettrick Family

Dearest Sue and family,
Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of John’s passing. Please know you are in my thoughts and I am sending warm hugs to you and your family. Beautiful memories of John will hopefully comfort you during this very difficult time. Remember him with smiles and laughter and his would want you to. My brother Kenny will never have another friend like John. I can’t remember the two of them ever being apart.
Prayers and love,
Sherri Piegay (Danni)

Suzi and Girls,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

This is just so surreal. You and John have been my friends for the last 40 years. I remember the days when John would drive up to the Fotomat booth in his red Camaro to visit with you when you two were dating.

A lot of time has passed between now and then with lots of memories made over the years. John will remain with us in those memories even if he is no longer physically here.

I hope someday soon we can celebrate our memories of John when the pain and sorrow subsides. He was a kind hearted hard working man and will be very much missed.

Love,

Lin and Simon

I will miss John and his smiling face. He took care of our aqua systems for the whole time he worked there. If it could be fixed, John could do it! I’m sure God needed some work done and called his best to come home. To his loving family, please accept my deepest sympathy. Marie Snyder

John,

Thanks for everything you've tought me over the years in life and trade. The advice and lessons you've provided has helped me become the person I am today and have given me the tools I needed to succeed throughout my career. The world has truly lost a good, honest, wholesome man and our industry has never had a better leader and role model. I am priveledged to have spent the past decade getting to know you and become your friend and colleague. God bless and may you finally get the rest you have for so long deserved.

My fellow "old" timer at work. Shared a lot of laughs. Great, talented, man that will be missed greatly. Aqua-Systems will not be the same without you Johnny. Rest in peace brother. 🍻
