Joy A. (nee Pretorius) Preston, of East Amherst, entered into rest on March 4, 2022 at age 82. Beloved wife of the late C. Brian Preston; devoted mother of Bridgette (Michael) Gianturco; cherished step-grandmother of Joseph, Michael III and Katherine Gianturco; step-great-grandmother of James Mason; dear sister of Dawn Higham of New Zealand, the late Pamela Eaglestone and the late John William Pretorius; also survived by loving nieces and nephews in South Africa and New Zealand. No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct. (corner of Maple Rd.) on Saturday (March 19, 2022) at 10:30am. Please assemble at church.
