June retired after 30 years as a Special Education Teacher in the NYS school system. She had a love for travel, and some of her favorite destinations included the rolling hills of Ireland, the relaxing cruises she took, and regular visits to the sun-kissed shores of Aruba and other beautiful islands. She found joy in exploring new places and making memories along the way.
At home, June was passionate about gardening, dedicating her time to growing a colorful array of flowers that brightened the world around her. Her garden was a sanctuary, and she lovingly cared for it throughout the seasons. The birds and squirrels knew they could count on her for a helping hand year-round, and they often visited her for the care she so lovingly provided. In fact, many of them even had names, as June formed special bonds with these little visitors, watching them come and go season after season.
But above all, June was devoted to her family and friends. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and loved. Her generosity, warmth, and unwavering support will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. In lieu of flowers donations in June's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. http://fundraising.stjude.org/goto/JuneHilbert
