Kent Richter, Amherst, September 13, 2025, Kent was the beloved husband of 47 years to Meg (nee Elliott) Richter; loving father of Joseph (Patricia) and Bill (Kristen) Richter; cherished Grandpa of Shelby, Lyndsey, Savannah and Sienna; step-grandfather of James Dillman; great-grandfather of Sawyer; brother of Linda (late Hal) Maunz; also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He will be missed immeasurably. The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM at the BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville, NY. Where a service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kent’s memory to the North Bailey Fire Co. 966 Sweet Home Rd, Amherst, NY 14226. Kent was a volunteer firefighter within Amherst for over 50 years in total, including 45 years with the North Bailey Fire Company, where he proudly held many titles including Past Chief.
