Lewis C. Alford

On August 17, 1963, Lewis was united in marriage to his devoted and loving wife, Dorcas Shirley Alford. They were blessed with two wonderful children; Lisa and Clark. A loving husband and devoted father, Lewis worked as a Computer Technician at Control Data for over 25 years. Lewis was also active in the Boy Scouts of America serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Lewis loved Star Trek, flying remote controlled planes, building electronics, and a fan of auto racing. He was also a handyman capable of repairing anything around the house. All those that knew Lewis (family, friends, neighbors) loved being around him.

Lewis C. Alford, of Williamsville, NY and formerly of Detroit, MI, entered into rest on May 26, 2022 at age 89. Loving husband to his wife, Dorcas, of almost 60 years. Loving son of the late Ben and Carrie Alford; dear brother of Catherine (Rev. P. David), the late Ruby, the late Nellie (John), the late Bennie (Lynn), the late Johnetta (James), and the late Nolan. Lewis also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 1pm at North Presbyterian Church (300 N Forest Rd, Williamsville, NY).
