Lisa was a beloved wife, cherished mother, treasured sister, and dearest friend, who is finally free from illness and pain. Lisa has been reunited with her parents, aunts, uncles, friends, and adored pets. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her in this life.
Lisa was a warm, vivacious, and compassionate woman who loved her faith, family, and friends. She was always the first to welcome you in and bring laughter to the room with her wit and down to earth charm.
Lisa lived out her faith every day, always willing to help others with a servant’s heart. She often took the role of stalwart caregiver as she advocated for the many people and pets she held near and dear to her heart.
In her 2 ½ year battle with aggressive endometrial cancer, Lisa endured 25 rounds of chemotherapy, 3 weeks of radiation, and multiple trips to Houston, TX for a second opinion. Lisa’s willingness to fight, her tenacity, and her faith in the Lord were never in question. Through all of it, she continued to support everyone in her life no matter the situation.
Lisa found peace spending time by any body of water whether it be Lake Ontario, Keuka Lake, the St. Lawrence River, or Tonawanda Creek and quiet mornings drinking her coffee on the back deck with the puppies when the weather was nice.
Lisa is survived by her husband Frank, daughter Jessica and her husband Michael, son Joshua and his wife Megan, and son Justice. She was the dear sister of Craig Tice along with his wife Stacey; sister-in-law of Victoria Hinkel along with her late husband Duane; sister-in-law of Rosemary Knudsen along with her husband Edward. She was the daughter of the late John and Helen (née Glitzer) Tice and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and adored friends.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, December 16th from 1-4PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4PM at the Perna, Dengler, & Roberts Funeral Home at 1671 Maple Road in Williamsville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, the family is respectfully accepting donations to help with medical bills from Lisa’s long battle with cancer at this link https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/JessicaRiggi.
