Many summer vacations were spent in Buffalo visiting my grandmother Albertine. Often we would head over to visit Aunt Lois and Uncle Joe’s House. I remember sitting on the couch and listening to numerous stories about family. I especially appreciated hearing about the stories of my mother, Valerie Ann, and her childhood antics. Aunt Lois always had good food to share and big hugs all around. Please know that my thoughts and prayers and with the Niland family.

To the entire Niland Family I send my most heartfelt sympathy. Living only 4 houses up the street, I was at Joey's house so much it was like having 2 Mom's. Nothing but fond memories of Mrs. Niland. It was my honor to have had Mrs. Niland in my life.
My prayers are with you all.

I will always remember my mom, Mary Ellen, bringing us back home to Gramdma Albertine’s every summer. Aunt Lois and all of the Niland kids were always so good to us! I remember going sledding and hanging out in her kitchen laughing and catching up! I always thought your family was so cool and so much fun! I have so many great memories and stories that I share with my four children. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!
With love,
Jackie Everhart

To the Niland Family,
Aunt Lois was an inspiration to me from the time I was 10 years old and she took me to work with her and later to lunch and clothes shopping. I remember thinking that her life was magical and glamorous and I wanted to be a part of that working world when I would become an adult. I never joined the office staff of a business but I did become a teacher and often recalled how my Aunt Lois and husband Uncle Joe raised their children to be compassionate, kind, caring and independent adults. She taught ME through her example. Later ,when I married Bob Kluver and had two daughters, Anna and Emily, Aunt Lois welcomed us on our all too infrequent visits to Buffalo from Colorado, to her home with warmth and humor. Please note that your mom's influence has spread wider than maybe you could have ever imagined. Be at peace with wonderful memories. Love, Cousin Val

One of my favorite aunts....I have so many memories from all of my trips as a little girl back to Tonawanda. I can picture your mom in a lime green "flowy" dress looking like a movie star!! She would dress up to take us to the movies and /or to get ice cream. She was always sweet not only to me but to the next generation, my kids, Jackie, Katie and Liz. I knew when we would come to visit from Hawaii that there would be a kiss and a hug, as well as a family get together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Bridget and Family,
Keeping you in our thoughts and prays. You are on our hearts. Remember if you are only seeing one set of footprints in the sand it is because God is caring you in his arms at this time. The loss of a mother can never be replaced, but the love a mother can never be lost.

Love, Vivian, Larry & Paulie
