I am truly sorry to hear about your loss.  Lori and I went to school together since we were young.  What a great person she is, and she is waiting for all of us, and we will see her again.  My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

The first time I met Lori she yelled at me about something that was going on in the cafeteria.  We sat down and by the end of the conversation we were both laughing and she offered to help in any way she could.

She was true to her word.  She volunteered in the cafeteria 4 out of 5 days and when we needed someone to take on the job we hired her on the spot.

I am going to miss my personal unofficial Mayor of Williamsville.  I know I will think of you often when I need advise and ask, what would Lori do?

I met Lori when I worked at MW for a year, back in 2007. She was so much fun, kind hearted and great to talk to. I am so sorry to hear of your tremendous loss, she was such a great lady. My prayers and thoughts to you all.

Shortly after our daughter began kindergarten in 2007, I became a volunteer in the cafeteria at MW and that's when I met Lori. I so enjoyed the laughs we shared and always appreciated the advice she gave me.  She assured me that our daughter was in good hands at MW and she was right. We knew Lori would be there for her if she ever needed anything.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Lori did so much for people. She touched so many lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. May the God of all comfort, give you strength and peace. We are thankful for Lori's service as a Girl Scout.

To Lori's family & friends.  We are so very sorry for your loss. All four of my children had the benefit of Lori's presence at Maple West. I had the privilege to get to know her through the PTA and could ALWAYS count on her help. May you find comfort in knowing how many people are thinking of you and praying that you can find peace.

Lori was such an amazing person. I don't know how she did everything she did. She was involved and active in so many things. She will be greatly missed by so many. I pray for her family to find the strength that she had throughtout these last few years and the courage to carry on. We love you Lori.

I just found out about Lori's passing and I'm so sorry for Patrick and the family.  I met Lori back in the day working at Bells Bazaar and she always made me laugh. We were all one big happy family back then and I often remember those times fondly. Lori will be missed but always remembered for her kindness. Your family is my thoughts and prayers.

I remember when Lori was going through chemo, shortly after she was diagnosed, another Maple West/Mill/Girl Scout family lost their home to a fire. Lori jumped right in to help organize donations to the family through the Scouts. When she called me, I told her how amazing I thought she was for taking so much time to help others with what she was going through. She laughed and said "No, it's perfect. It keeps me busy, and it's something I can do sitting down!" To her, it was no big deal. Cancer wasn't going to stop her!

Something else I l thought was very special about Lori is that she knew each and every child at Maple West by the time they graduated. In the midst of all the noise and chaos of hundreds of kids, she took the time to know all of their names and who they were.

I'm glad her pain and suffering are over, but she will be greatly missed.

I first became friends with Lori through Girl Scouts. She was such a wonderful person and persuaded me into becoming involved with Girl Scouts.  Then she started working at Maple West - what a great addition! My daughter's request one day would sum it all up: "Mom, can you call Mrs. McGuire and tell her I can buy a snack if I don't eat all my lunch!" When I think of Lori I can hear her ending her sentences with me... "and let's call it a day".... Lori had a gift to talk and I am sure many recall their long phone conversations with her. I enjoyed everyone (even the ones at 11:00 at night, for us moms who could only get things done at night). She was a great person and a great friend to all.  I enjoyed my time with her at Girl Scouts.  She was a strong woman who always helped out everyone else.  She has touched a lot of peoples lives and will be missed!

A terrible loss that happened way to early to a great person.

McGuire Family,  Brian and I are so sorry for your loss.  She in out of pain and watching over all of you now.  Always remember her alway as she was in your heart.

Lori always had a big smile and friendly greeting whether we saw her at Maple West, Girl Scout Cookie Pick-Up or greeting children through the top of her storm door window at Halloween.  We were always happy to see her and we will miss and remember her dearly.  -The Pezouvanis Family

Lori was truly an inspiration. She gave definition to the word hope, and never stopped fighting. Lori was more than just a sister scout. She'd been in the scouting family for almost as long as I can remember, and she was one of the ones who truly made it feel like a family. Lori touched so many lives, and mine is one of them. I am glad her pain is finally over and that she's found peace. My prayers are with Keree and the rest of the family. I have no doubt that she is in a better place.

When I first met Lori she scared me. She had that way about her. But I quickly learned that was a front that she put up. Lori was one of the nicest people I ever met and she cared about MW. She cared about the kids. She cared most about Girl Scouts. She cared about everybody. And everybody cared about Lori. I know she was tough because she fought this awful disease for years. May God Bless her husband and her children.

To the McGuire family, Lori was an amazing woman.  Her attitude towards this disease and her strong will to live was an inspiration to all of us who worked with her. MW has lost a well loved family member.  She will be surely missed. All of you are in our thoughts and in our prayers during this most difficult time. Heaven has gained a wonderful angel.
