Of Williamsville, New York entered into rest on September 10, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Paul G. Scandarito, Sam Rizzo and George Doughty. Loving mother of Pamela (Anthony) Distefano. Dear Nanni of Audra Distefano and Justine (Antonio) Torres. Gigi of Antonio Victor (TJ), Isabella Andrea, and Raphael Paul Torres. Beloved daughter of the late Sadie and Carl Sauro. Stepdaughter of the late Joseph Saletta. Sister of the late Barbara Pierce. Sister-in-law of Rick Pierce and the late Richard Catone. At the age 40 Margo went to nursing school to acquire her degree and worked as a nurse for 23 years before her retirement. Margo and her husband George were avid ballroom dancers belonging to the Amherst Dance Club, White Falcons and the Tuesday Spring St. Dance Club. She also was involved in many ministries at St. Gregory the Great. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 16, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct. Williamsville, NY 14221. Please assemble at church as there will not be a prior visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Gregory the Great Angel Foundation or to St. Gregory the Great Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
