I shared too soon (I apologize). We didn’t work together long but she helped me grow so much as an educator. She helped me advocate and make things better for me students. I could never thank her enough for everything she did for me, whether she realized it or not. She worked so hard day in and day out to help all of the students she came across. She was absolutely wonderful.

I met Mrs. Soto-Leggio at work. We didn’t work together long, and I was fairly new to teaching but she always greeted me with a smile. She always made me feel welcome and was ready to lend a helping hand. She will be greatly missed.

I met Caty through work. She was a genuine person and a great friend. Years later, we ended up working at the same school for which I was delighted to have her professionalism and wisdom again. After moving to NYC, we stayed in touch. I will never forget you Caty. I will remember your honesty, your love for your family, work and friends. You will live in my heart and in my memories. I will pray for your family to find peace. God has gained an angel in you. May you Rest in Peace!
