Mary Ann was a wonderful friend to me. She taught me so much about type 1 diabetes and I will always be grateful to her for her support. We laughed a lot and she was so kind and generous. We enjoyed dining at the Polish Villa and we had marathon phone chats. She loved her family so much but she also loved my kids and grandkids. I miss her so much and I wish everyone could have such a beautiful friend like Mary Ann was to me.

Maryann and I go way back to our first job together,,, we did many fun get togethers. Lots of laughs and some tears.... just these last few years we were getting together more often.and reminiscing often of our youth, she was actually the photographer at my wedding.....and it was a blessing.....I will miss Maryann very much and feel bad I’m not able to attend the funeral, but my heart is there....❤️
