Oh, my! I remember when Uncle Stu married Aunt Mary Lou. I remember the wedding day. I remember when Duane and Sue were born and spent time with Uncle Stu and Aunt Mary Lou and the babies / toddlers as they grew up. These are memories for which I shall never forget, even as Aunt Mary Lou departs this life on earth and joins with the others who have departed before her. The Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve celebrations we spent with the Schoonmakers and Nana Schoonmaker sure do live with me. Aunt Mary Lou was always so kind to people. I know she was to me. I will never forget that. I will also never forget the stuffed cabbage Aunt Mary Lou made for us to share every holiday dinner. One of my favorite Beatles albums was Abbey Road. Aunt Mary Lou and Uncle Stu and family gave that to me for Christmas one year. How can I forget? I still have that vinyl album. THE BEST! Aunt Mary Lou was the best. May you rest in peace, Aunt Mary Lou! Douglas Cornwell (nephew).
