On December 16,1929, Mary Lou “Dolly”(Loretta) was born. We lost this remarkable woman on July 29, 2024, just five months before her 95th birthday. I believe she wanted to celebrate in heaven with her sons, brothers and sister, as well as aunts and uncles who preceded her. Her sons David, Dennis , Donald, and Dean are all deceased as well as her brothers Peter Loretta, Lawrence Loretta and her sister Shirley Story. Dolly left behind three grandchildren. Donald and Marty (Tombolesi) had a daughter Dana. Dean and Donna (Schweikart) had two sons Dylan and Duane. Also, two great grandchildren Christian and Maya, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dolly is known for many things, but being a good mother was her number one priority. We could count on her for anything.
To keep her family together she had many jobs over the years. Trico, waitress at many restaurants Hairdresser, and more. Then she worked at Chevy where she studied and worked very hard to become a tool maker journeyman. Dolly was the first woman to do this in the United States and Canada. What a proud moment that was and still is.
Please come and join us in a celebration of Dolly’s life. Bring stories and photos on
Thursday August 15th from 2-4 PM at the PERNA DENGLER ROBERTS Funeral Home 1671 Maple Rd Williamsville. Online condolences to www.denglerrobertspernafuneral.com
