Dear Julie, Greg, Anthony, Charles, Andrew, and Christopher,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I was out of town the week of
her wake and funeral Mass, and saw her obituary much later. She was such a dear. I so admired her strength in raising all of you alone. I remember all of our chats at IHM while all of you were going to school, and much later when we would meet at the Williamsville drug store and I would inquire about all of you. She was always so proud to talk about you, and happy to remember that I too had six brothers and me solo like you, Julie. Our last couple of chats were at the nursing home once I found her again at Bobbie's wake. And she would always say, "I knew you were going to call me today."
May mom rest in peace. I'm sure she has a high place in heaven.
Blessings to all of you.

I did not know Mary Lou well, but I spent several very enjoyable afternoons in her company, and she was a lovely lady. She was one of those people whose very presence simply makes everything a little bit more pleasant. I have nothing but fond memories of her and my deepest condolences to Dolly and the rest of her family.
