Just wanted to express my condolences for your loss. I worked with Mike in the 80's at Strippit when it was at the peak of it's business. Mike was always a very positive and good spirited person to work with. I was there 7 years and remember him fondly. I recently (maybe a year or so ago) ran into him when my wife and i were out for dinner and we had an opportunity to reminisce. He was a great man!!!

Back in the 80's I was a young tool & die steel sales guy supplier to the Strippit Co. in Akron NY where Mike worked. To this day I recall individuals which I consider the most influential in my career.. . Mike was one of them. I can say that Mike was a class guy, a true gentleman & at the top of the list of mentors as I was finding my way in the world of steel sales. Back then it was a normal monthly routine to meet for lunch at Mary's Good & Plenty restaurant in Akron with Mike & his associate Ed Szymanski (the purchasing agent from Strippit). Mike always provided insight & cheerful advice in a calm and insightful manner that made me be a better person and better supplier. God bless Mike Mercurio !!

Mike and Ann were among the kindest and most loving people my wife Carole and I had the blessed pleasure to know. We only knew Mike and Ann in their final years as our neighbors but Mike was so humble and friendly I saw him as a true Christian man and a great father. I am so happy that Mike and Ann are now together for eternity.

My heart goes out to your family as you mourn the loss of a special man. Mike and Ann always reminded me of my own parents who I lost last year, 6 months apart. Mike and Ann were always positive, friendly and warm. They were my wonderful neighbors and I will miss them dearly. May you be comforted knowing they are together again and after your tears have dried, remember that they left a beautiful legacy for you to carry on for them. Truly wonderful people who appreciated all of you. I know because Mike told me. He loved you!
