  What a full life your husband, and father had that truly embodied the fruits of the spirit. 
Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. 
   What greater legacy can a man have than sharing the love of the Lord, with family and all who entered his home in such a way that troubles we carried seem to fall away while spending time with him. 
  My prayers are with you in remembrance, and blessings received in our times together.

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember your Husband, Father in so many ways. I remember asking him for advice on a project I was doing, and he always had the answer. He had a great smile.  He was always ready to help someone if they needed him. So kind to others. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Great Uncle Mike will be missed by all who knew him. My family has many great memories of him that we will remember forever. He was kind and always fun to be around . May he rest in peace .

The year was 1981.
 My father had lost his job as a butcher when Bells supermarkets acquired Park Edge. 
Having no prospects on the horizon, being past middle-aged and not being well educated,, there was not many opportunities for him to provide for the family.
He went back to his roots, and opened a grocery store in Kenmore.
His sisters, my Aunt’s  Louise and Ann, as well as his  brother-in-law “uncle” Mike Mineo contributed in unimaginable ways to the early and continued success of that store. They donated, countless hours of their time, assuring the success of their brothers business when he needed it the most.
Uncle Mike was the ultimate Handyman. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do, and his contributions were seen in every corner of the store.
You were there for my family when we needed the most  help.
Thank you and rest in peace Uncle Mike.

Deep condolences  to the family of cousin Michael  Mineo on his passing.  We  have great memories  of him, the organizer of the family's picnics. He was always very involved and busy and yet always happy, smiling and joking.  He will be very much missed. We hope and pray that his wife Luisa and the all family find comfort and strength on  his wonderful memories and may the Lord grant him eternal rest with the angels. R.I.P.

So very sorry for your loss. I always remember your Husband, father as smiling. He was also always showing kindness to others in so many ways. He would help anyone and always wanted to know how others were doing in their lives. He was a true blessing to know.

Mike was such a wonderful man. He always brought so much joy and laughter to our family. My parents love you both Louise. They always had so much fun with you both. I found this picture from 2018, taken at my parents home and thought I’d share the friendship that my dad, Frank and Mike had. Love to all.

And what could be better than a double scoop ice cream cone on a hot Florida afternoon? (Sep 2025)

He even got to hold a gator after the airboat ride (Sep 2025).

Always up for a challenge... Even with his health problems at age 94, he wanted to take an airboat ride on his final Florida trip to visit Debbie and me last year (Sep 2025).

So glad that Aunt Louise and Uncle Mike were able to visit Debbie and me at our home in Florida a few times.  They enjoyed a walk on the beach in 2018.

My uncle Mike Mineo was my godfather, and for 66 years has been the closest adult male in my life other than my father.   I still have this wristwatch that he gave to me for my confirmation in 1975.

He was at every major event in my life -- whether in California, Virginia, Indiana, South Dakota, or Washington, DC. 

And he was always there for others as well, to tackle any odd job or handyman task needing to be done, without hesitation.

He was a proud US Marine Corps veteran and I will miss him.

Semper Fi, Uncle Mike.  And Rest in Peace.  You've earned it.

Took this picture just a couple weeks ago! “ Papa Mike” wasn’t my biological Papa but always brought a smile to my face and was always cheerful and excited to see me! He was vibrant and full of life and his entire face brightened every time I said hello! He will be missed I’m so glad that he was surrounded by his loving family and he was so well taken care of!
