Norman F. Hambridge

Beloved husband for 68 years to Fay M. (Willower); dear father of Lynn (late Glen) Olsen, Kay McGinn, Tom (Chris) and the late John Hambridge; Father-in-law of Patti Reinard; brother of William; brother-in-law of Paul Willower. Born in Buffalo, Norman attended Kenmore schools. Norman was employed by International baking Company; he eventually opened his own business, owned and operated Dairy Queens both in Jamestown, Canada and the Buffalo area. For many years he was area manager for Dairy queen of Eastern Canada and the Maritimes. After leaving the company him and his son, John operated the Dairy Queen on Harlem Road in Cheektowaga for 27 years. Owning a seasonal business he and his wife, Fay traveled winters in their motor home.

Son, Tom and family live in Nashville, Tennessee. Two daughters Lynn and Kay live in New England, one in Natick and one on Cape Cod. Son, John and daughters have given them 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Most of them worked in the Dairy Queen as teenagers. Norm was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
