I am so very sorry to hear about Pop. I loved visiting him and Marion with my grandma when I was a kid. Over the years, I heard so many wonderful stories from my mom about Marion, Pop and my grandma having an amazing friendship with lots of laughing. 
I am very lucky that I had the privilege of Marion and Pop coming to my wedding in 2006. It meant so much to me. Thank you for being my grandmas very best friends. Much love and peace to you all.

I just want to say that you all put together a fantastic memorial service. Uncle Paul would be proud of all of you as I am.

To the family of Paul Armesto: I never taught with Paul, but we had many conversations about unionism. When I first came into the District he was already retired. He was a good adviser about all things BPS. He was intelligent and most of all, a warm human being. We called him the "Silver Fox". I will always remember his kindness and the huge smile. A treasure trove of information about our union history. He will be missed.

To all of the Loved Ones of Mr. Armesto:
You were all blessed to have such a wonderful man and role model. He had such an impact on so many lives over his career and life. He and his wife did a great job on raising their family. Mr. Armesto will be greatly missed. He is now with the one he loved most as he smiles down on all of you. You are all in my thoughts.

Uncle Paul surely affected many lives as a teacher and will be remembered by many of his students. Paul was a born teacher and philosopher who loved people and was not afraid to speak his mind without worrying about political correctness. He was a great Uncle and will be thought of many times and missed. He is with Aunt Marion now.

My condolences for your loss. Although Paul and I never taught together we enjoyed many afternoons of bowling on the School Masters league and socializing at their picnics. He was a terrific person.
