Paul W. Cheney Sr.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Wurstner) Cheney; loving father of Paul Jr. (Alicia), Timothy (Jeanne), Janice, John Cheney and Lisa (Michael) Abruzzino; dear grandfather of six; great grandfather of one, son of the late Edward and late Catherine “Helen” Cheney; brother of Helen Lawandus and also predeceased by brothers Gerald and Thomas and sisters Mary Joyce Schaefer and Kathleen Anderson; brother in law of Laura (late Thomas) Wurstner; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. Family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 3 -7 PM at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Road Williamsville NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Benedict Church 1317 Eggert Road Amherst NY on Friday at 9 AM followed by Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Please assemble at the church. Paul dedicated many years of service to Saint Joseph University Parish and was a proud recipient of the Saint Joseph the Worker Award. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to Hospice Buffalo or Saint Joseph’s University School.
